Kelle Kain is a highly experienced administrative professional with over 22 years of expertise in office management and customer service. As an Administrative Support Coordinator for AFAM, she ensures that everyday administrative operations of department run smoothly, including course scheduling, budget management, and event logistics. Kelle also provides administrative support to the Institute for Black Intellectual Innovation at CSUF.

Prior to her current position, Kelle held key administrative and coordination roles at prestigious institutions such as Loyola Marymount University, California State University Dominguez Hills, and St. Barnabas Senior Services. 

Kelle pursued real estate studies at San Diego State University and maintains a Licensed Realtor credential. She is an integral member of the ethnic studies community at CSUF and continues to bring structure, leadership, and a positive attitude to the department and broader CSUF community.

Beatriz Suarez is an Administrative Assistant in the Ethnic Studies Department. She currently supports the African American Studies, Asian American Studies, and Chicano/a Studies Departments in providing administrative assistance to staff, faculty, and students. Beatriz helps ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of all three departments and is dedicated to supporting the mission of Ethnic Studies, contributing to a collaborative and well-organized academic environment.
