Get to Know Raymond:

Who is Raymond?
Raymond understands the CSUF student experience because he experienced it himself! He was born and raised in Southern California; he is a queer, first-generation, student of color turned college graduate; and he spent A LOT of time commuting on the 91. Raymond earned his Bachelor’s degree from CSUF, double majoring in English and American Studies, and he also completed a Master’s degree at CSUF in American Studies. 

Today, Raymond is a professional academic advisor, with experience working with HSS students on academic notice, students transitioning into CSUF, and students experiencing academic challenges. He has a passion for supporting students and ensuring that they are able to make the most out of their time at Cal State Fullerton. Raymond is excited to join the African American Studies Department to provide advising support for all students!
